How to implement an animation when starting activity in android java
You can show a custom animation when opening an activity in android with a simple and few lines of code, to make it work, you need put your animation files inside a special folder called anim, the animation files are simple xml files, you can even create your own animation files or modify the existing ones.
Step 1, Create anim folder
You need create a new folder named Anim in the res folder in android studio, and put your animation files inside that folder.
If you don’t have animation files, you can try the animation code below. just put the code inside an xml file, and then give it a name.

Save this animation xml in anim folder, name it fade.
To save this animation, select New > Android resource file > then paste this code inside the editor
